Hudson Valley Draper LED Flush Mount - Aged Brass

A luminous alabaster disc, set flush to the ceiling

Draper is a flush mount built around a circular alabaster diffuser, with LEDs set around its edge so the stone itself glows evenly from within rather than being lit from a single point. The result is a soft, disc shaped light source that sits close to the ceiling rather than projecting down into the room.

Aged brass edge with natural alabaster

The surrounding frame is finished in aged brass, a warm metal tone that frames the pale stone diffuser without competing with it. The alabaster itself is a natural material, so the colour and veining you receive will vary slightly from the next piece and from any photography you've seen, which is normal for genuine stone rather than a flaw.

How it works

Draper uses a 35W integrated LED rated at 1275 lumens and 2700K, a warm white light with a CRI of 90, and it's compatible with TRIAC dimmer systems for adjusting brightness. It measures around 7cm in height and 39cm in diameter, projecting about 7cm from the ceiling, and weighs 6.4kg. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its slim profile and even glow suit kitchens and dining rooms where a flush ceiling light is needed without the visual weight of a pendant, for example over an island or dining table in a room with limited ceiling height.
