Hudson Valley Dooley 1 Light Wall Sconce Light - Aged Old Bronze

A classic sconce shape softened with a linen shade

Dooley updates a familiar wall sconce silhouette with a Belgian linen shade extending from a simple rectangular backplate, trading a hard glass or metal diffuser for fabric and a softer, more domestic feeling light as a result.

Aged old bronze finish

This version is finished in aged old bronze, a warm, deliberately weathered metal tone that works well against dark paint, panelling and traditional joinery, and pairs comfortably with the linen shade's neutral tone.

How it works

It takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 40W (not supplied), diffused through the linen shade for a gentle, calm glow rather than a direct light source. Dooley measures around 32cm in height, 11cm in width and projects about 12cm from the wall. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its compact scale and soft light suit living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where an accent rather than a primary light source is wanted, for example either side of a bed, flanking a mirror, or along a hallway.
