Corinth is a small pendant from Hudson Valley Lighting that pairs a streamlined, glossy glass cylinder with an angled aged brass band wrapped around it, creating a quiet contrast between materials. It reads as a single elegant drop on its own, or works well repeated in a row or cluster above a kitchen island or table.

Aged brass finish with glass diffuser

The band and ceiling canopy are finished in aged brass, a warm tone with a slightly burnished, lived in look that suits brass hardware, wood tones and warm metal accents elsewhere in the room. The diffuser itself is a smooth glass cylinder with a glossy finish, chosen to play off the more textured brass band rather than blend into it.

How it works

Corinth takes a single E27 bulb, maximum 13W (not supplied), positioned inside the glass cylinder for a soft, contained glow. It measures around 34cm in height and 28cm in diameter, with the drop adjustable between roughly 58cm and 188cm, so it can be set to work above a counter, table or in a stairwell. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

It suits kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and staircases, wherever a compact, characterful pendant is wanted rather than a large central fitting. Its adjustable drop makes it a good fit for kitchen islands and stairwells with varying ceiling heights, and it pairs naturally with other brass fittings and finishes nearby.
