Hudson Valley Chambers 6 Light Flush Mount - Aged Old Bronze

A minimalist flush mount with inward facing bulbs

Chambers keeps its design simple: a black metal band encircled by an off centre brass ring, with the bulbs themselves angled to face inward rather than out into the room. Hook and rod arms hold the whole arrangement together, a small nod to older, more industrial fixtures within an otherwise clean, contemporary shape.

Chambers pairs a black metal band with a brass ring and brass toned bulb sockets, a contrast that suits the fitting's pared back geometry and works well in both traditional rooms and more minimal, contemporary ones.

How it works

It takes six E27 bulbs rated up to 40W each (not supplied), angled inward so the light bounces off the band and ring rather than shining directly outward. Chambers measures around 20cm in height and 53cm in diameter, sitting flush against the ceiling. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its flush profile and clean geometry suit kitchens and dining rooms where a lower ceiling or a preference for a close fitting light rules out a hanging pendant or chandelier, while still giving the visual weight of a six light fixture.
