Hudson Valley Central Park Small Wall Sconce Light - Polished Nickel

A sleek alabaster sconce with concealed hardware

Central Park is a minimalist wall light built around a rectangular alabaster diffuser, open at both the top and bottom so light washes up and down the wall as well as filtering softly through the stone itself. With its hardware fully concealed, it reads as a clean, linear form rather than a traditional sconce shape.

Polished nickel hardware with natural alabaster

The concealed backplate and fixings are finished in polished nickel, a cool, understated metal tone that lets the alabaster diffuser do most of the visual work. The alabaster itself is a natural stone in a pale white tone, so colour and veining will vary slightly piece to piece and from any photography you've seen, which is normal for the material rather than a fault.

How it works

Central Park uses a 10W integrated LED rated at 225 lumens and 3000K, a warm white light with a CRI of 90, and it's compatible with ELV and TRIAC dimmer systems for adjusting the level. It measures around 39cm in height and 13cm in width, projecting roughly 6cm from the wall, and weighs 2.2kg. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its slim, linear profile suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a modern accent light is wanted, particularly in minimalist or contemporary schemes where a fitting with no visible hardware reads as part of the wall itself. It also works well used in pairs or in a row along a run of wall.
