This Bowery chandelier arranges six linen shaded arms around a central brass frame, giving a fitting that reads as soft and layered rather than a single bright cluster. The frame is finished in aged old bronze, a warm, deliberately weathered metal tone that works well against dark paint, panelling and traditional joinery. Each arm carries its own small linen shade, so expect the light texture and tone of the fabric to vary very slightly piece to piece, which is normal for a natural fibre material.

How it works

It takes 6 x E14 bulbs, each rated up to 5W (not supplied), one per shaded arm, for a soft, ambient spread of light rather than a single strong source. The fixture measures around 62cm in height and 71cm in diameter, with a minimum drop of about 75cm and a maximum drop of around 212cm on its chain. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Does this chandelier come with light bulbs?
No, this chandelier does not include bulbs. It takes 6 E14 bulbs, each rated to a maximum of 5W, so you will need to add your own before installing it.

Will the linen shades all look exactly the same?
Not quite. Each of the six shades is made from natural linen, so slight variation in texture and tone between shades is normal and part of the character of the material rather than a fault.

How far can this chandelier hang below the ceiling?
The chain allows the drop to be adjusted from around 75cm at its shortest up to about 212cm at its longest, so it can be set to suit rooms with standard or higher ceilings.
