This Bowery bath bracket pairs a small steel arm with a rounded glass globe shade, a simple, symmetrical shape designed to sit either side of a bathroom mirror rather than centrally above it. It's one of several bath and vanity fixtures in the Bowery range, sharing the same textured, material led approach as the collection's sconces and pendants.

Aged old bronze finish with a glass globe

The arm and backplate are finished in aged old bronze, a warm, deliberately weathered metal tone that pairs naturally with marble, warm stone and traditional sanitaryware. The globe itself is plain glass, giving a soft, even spread of light rather than a hard point source.

How it works

It takes a single E27 (type B) bulb rated up to 8W (not supplied), housed inside the glass globe for gentle, shadow free illumination suited to grooming and mirror tasks. It measures around 32cm in height and 15cm in width, projecting about 18cm from the wall. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Bowery is designed as a bath and vanity fixture, typically fitted in pairs either side of a mirror, though it also suits a dressing room or hallway where a simple, symmetrical wall light is wanted. This fitting is rated IP20, so it's built for indoor use in dry to occasionally damp conditions rather than direct exposure to water, and its position relative to a bath, shower or basin needs to respect UK bathroom zoning rules.
