A sculptural glass panel light in aged brass, with integrated LED
Bourne is built around a thick, heavyweight glass panel, concave and etched on the inside face, convex and clear on the outside, so the integrated LED behind it diffuses into a soft, glowing dome rather than a visible point of light. It has a substantial, almost architectural presence for its size.
Aged brass with sculptural glass
The backplate is finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished metal tone, set behind the thick glass panel that does most of the visual work. The combination of etched and clear glass surfaces creates a layered, dimensional look rather than a flat lit disc.
How it works
Bourne uses a 12W integrated LED rated at 400 lumens and 3000K, a warm white light with a CRI of 90 for accurate colour rendering, and it's triac dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch. As the LED is built in, there's no separate bulb to source or replace. It measures around 26.7cm in height and width, projecting about 8.9cm from the wall or ceiling. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
It suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a soft, architectural glow is wanted rather than a directional light, as a wall light or a flush ceiling fitting in a lower room. Its aged brass and glass combination sits well in both traditional and more contemporary interiors.
