Hudson Valley Blossom 20 Light Chandelier - Gold Leaf

A large scale chandelier in hand shaped Piastra glass

This 20 light chandelier is the largest expression of the Blossom design, gathering twenty individually hand shaped Piastra glass leaves, each with a smaller gold leaf accent nested behind it, into a single sculptural lotus like bloom. It's built to be a genuine centrepiece rather than a background light.

Gold leaf finish

The frame is finished in gold leaf, a warm, hand applied metal tone that peeks out from behind each glass leaf rather than competing with it, so the many individually shaped shades remain the focus as light catches each one slightly differently.

How it works

It takes twenty E14 bulbs rated up to 25W each (not supplied), spread across the fixture so the overall effect is a soft, layered glow rather than twenty individual points of light. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and given its scale and weight, the ceiling fixing should be checked before installing.

Where it works best

Its scale suits living rooms, open plan kitchens, dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with the ceiling height and floor space to give it room to breathe, somewhere it can be seen and appreciated from a distance as well as close up.

• CE certified, rated IP20 for indoor use in dry to occasionally damp conditions, with a 1 year warranty. We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician, with the ceiling fixing checked for suitability given the fitting's size.
