Hudson Valley Astoria 4 Light Wall Sconce Light - Aged Brass

A compact Astoria ring in aged brass, for wall or ceiling mounting

This four light version scales the Astoria ring design down into a compact fitting, with four G9 lamps set around a slim aged brass frame. It carries the same uncluttered, architectural feel as the larger Astoria chandeliers, in a size that works equally well flush to a ceiling or mounted flat against a wall.

The ring frame is finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished tone, paired with glass elements around each lamp that keep the silhouette light rather than heavy.

How it works

It takes four G9 bulbs rated up to 6W each (not supplied), spaced evenly around the ring for broad, even light. It measures around 36cm in height and width, projecting about 17cm from its mounting surface, and can be installed as a flush ceiling fitting or as a wall light depending on the room. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

As a ceiling fitting, it suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways with standard ceiling heights, where a pendant would hang too low. As a wall light, it works well either side of a mirror, along a hallway, or as a statement piece above a console or fireplace. The aged brass ring reads well in both traditional rooms and more contemporary spaces built around warm metal tones.
