An elongated torch form finished in aged brass, with crystal detail and a soft fabric shade
Amherst Small is a single arm wall light from Hudson Valley Lighting, built around a tall, tapered torch shaped arm in aged brass. A crystal bobeche circles the base of the shade, adding a faceted glint against the fabric above, a small contemporary touch on an otherwise traditional silhouette.

The frame is finished in aged brass, a warm, slightly burnished metal tone that works well against dark walls, panelling and traditional joinery. The shade itself is a white fabric drum, which softens the light and keeps the glow gentle rather than direct, while the crystal bobeche accents catch the light as it passes.
How it works
Amherst Small takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 40W (not supplied), positioned centrally within the fabric shade for an even, ambient glow. It measures around 47.6cm in height, 12.7cm in width and projects about 14cm from the wall. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a single accent light is wanted, for example beside a bed, either side of a mirror, or spaced along a hallway or staircase wall. The aged brass and crystal detailing sit comfortably in traditional interiors built around warm metals and classic forms.
