The charcoal finish

This variant is finished in a deep, matte charcoal grey powder coat over a steel body, so the surface reads flat and chalky rather than glossy, and it won't throw glare back at the room. The brass detail at the top of the shade catches warm highlights against the cool grey, a small but deliberate contrast that keeps the fitting from feeling too heavy or industrial. It sits comfortably against black ironmongery, warm wood tones, or pale plaster walls, and works equally well as a single accent or repeated in a row.

How it works

This is a hardwired 240V pendant fitted with an E14 lamp holder, so you'll need to supply your own E14 bulb (maximum 28W) and it should be connected to the mains by a qualified electrician. It's dimmable, provided it's paired with a compatible E14 bulb and dimmer switch, and the cotton covered flex allows the drop to be adjusted at the time of installation so you can set the hang height to suit your ceiling and table or worktop below.

Where it works best

Its focused, downward throw makes it a natural fit for task oriented spots: over a kitchen island, above a dining table, or angled onto a desk or reading corner where you want concentrated light rather than an ambient glow. Grouped in multiples it also works well as a run of pendants along a kitchen counter or breakfast bar. It's an indoor fitting only, so keep it to living areas, kitchens, and dining rooms rather than bathrooms or outdoor spaces.
