The Lanza single wall light brings sharp, rectangular lines to a fitting with a genuine IP44 rating, finished in a bright Polished Chrome that catches the light rather than absorbing it. It's a compact single light design, built to work as hard in a bathroom as it does in a hallway.

Polished Chrome finish

Mild steel and glass combine here, with the metalwork polished to a bright, reflective chrome finish that gives the strong rectangular shape a contemporary edge. It's a finish that pairs naturally with white tiles, brushed steel taps and other chrome fittings, and sits alongside a Polished Nickel version if you'd prefer a warmer tone.

How it works

This is a single light wall fitting, taking one 3W LED G9 bulb, which isn't included so you'll need to add one to your order. The bulb is dimmable if you choose a dimmable G9 LED. This fitting wires to a standard wall box. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It's rated Class I, so it needs to be properly earthed as part of installation.

The story behind Hinkley

Hinkley started in 1922 when Phil R. Hinkley began making outdoor lanterns in Cleveland, Ohio, with a debut catalogue of just 14 products. The Wiedemer family took over the business after Phil's death in 1937, and four generations later, it's still family run. The clean, rectangular lines of a fitting like the Lanza sit a long way from that first catalogue of lanterns, a sign of how far the range has grown since. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has adapted Hinkley's designs, including this one, for the UK market, converting them to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
