This 3 light Ainsley wall light is the biggest version in the collection, and in Burnished Brass it takes on a warmer, more traditional character than the chrome models. Three cased opal glass shades sit on the range's signature retro modern turned cups, each finished with an elegant Burnished Brass trim ring.

Finish and materials

Burnished Brass suits period bathrooms and hallways, or any space already furnished with brass hardware. The cased opal glass diffuses light evenly across all three shades rather than showing the bulbs directly.

How it works

It's a three bulb wall light that mounts flush to the wall on a standard plate. This fitting doesn't come with bulbs, so you'll need to add three to your order.

Where it works best

With a genuine IP44 rating, this Ainsley fitting is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and outside zone, in keeping with our bathroom lighting zones and regulations guide. Its scale makes it a good fit for larger bathrooms or above a double vanity where more light is needed.

The story behind Hinkley

Hinkley's fourth generation of family ownership began in 2015, when Jess Wiedemer, son of long serving chief executive Rick Wiedemer, became president of the company his family had run since the 1930s. Under that continuity of ownership, Hinkley has kept its focus on thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship even as the range has grown to include traditional wall lights like this Ainsley design. Elstead Lighting has partnered with Hinkley since 2012 to bring these designs to the UK, adapting them to 220 to 240V electrics and CE certification.
