Harte Vintage Tear Drop 0.82m Pedestal Light - Cast Iron, Steel & Copper Head

This 0.82 metre pedestal light takes the same free standing cast iron and steel base as the standard version in Harte's Vintage Tear Drop range, but finishes the tear drop head in copper rather than black, a genuine material difference within the Goose Neck collection.

Cast iron, steel and a copper head

The pedestal base and arm are cast iron and galvanised steel, finished in gloss black, while the head itself is copper, left in its natural tone. Harte's guarantee against cracking, bending or breaking under normal conditions applies to the cast iron and steel elements of the fixture; the copper head is excluded, as with all of Harte's copper components.

How it works

Light diffuses through a clear polycarbonate lens within the tear drop head, held on a fixed, free standing pedestal base. It requires a mains wiring connection and a fixed base, and we recommend a qualified electrician for the wiring.

Where it works best

Being free standing, it works where there's no wall or pier available, such as along a garden border, beside a patio, or flanking a set of steps, and the copper head gives it a slightly more refined look than the all black version.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

This pedestal light comes from Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, founded by Willie Harte in 1983 and carried on today by Liz Harte and the next generation, including Jack and Sam Harte. Harte says its lighting is installed at notable Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, alongside private homes and estates across Ireland and the UK.
