For a smaller space that still wants the warmth Scraplights are known for, the Ohio 24 in its natural, laser cut finish brings an intimate 61cm scale without losing any of the collection's handmade character. Reclaimed corrugated cardboard is cut into fine concentric rings, hand assembled and bonded with non-toxic adhesive, then treated with a non-toxic fire retardant before a glass diffuser is set at the centre to even out the light from the single bulb. Left undyed, the natural tone shows the grain and subtle colour variation of the raw material, so the glow it casts is genuinely warm and amber, with soft shadow patterning across nearby surfaces. It hangs well over a bedside, breakfast table or hallway in Scandinavian, Japandi or organic modern interiors.
