White finishes in the Scraplights range are knife cut rather than laser cut, and the Moon table lamp in White shows why that matters: the crisper edges and pale surface soften the amber cardboard glow into something brighter and more graphic, throwing sharper rings of shadow across a room. Built as a 25cm sphere from reclaimed corrugated cardboard, hand assembled with non toxic adhesive and finished with a non toxic fire retardant, it keeps the sustainable, hand finished spirit of Graypants' Pacific Northwest and Amsterdam studios while suiting brighter, more contemporary or Japandi spaces. Sitting comfortably on a sideboard, desk or nightstand, it works well anywhere a lighter palette is preferred over raw cardboard tones.
