Stacked rings of cardboard curve into the familiar cratered globe of the Scraplights Moon, and in white the Moon 24 brings a cleaner, more graphic version of that lunar form into a room. Graypants' craftspeople knife cut each ring by hand for this finish, then bond the shade with a non-toxic adhesive and fire retardant treatment, carrying forward the studio's founding idea that an everyday material like cardboard can be made beautiful rather than thrown away. At 61cm across and 53cm high it is a substantial single point of light, well suited to a dining table, stairwell or lounge, glowing amber once lit against its pale, textured surface. It is hardwired, with the drop set by your electrician.
