Stacked rings of cardboard curve into the familiar cratered globe of the Scraplights Moon, and in white the Moon 24 brings a cleaner, more graphic version of that lunar form into a room. Graypants' craftspeople knife cut each ring by hand for this finish, then bond the shade with a non-toxic adhesive and fire retardant treatment, carrying forward the studio's founding idea that an everyday material like cardboard can be made beautiful rather than thrown away. At 36cm across it suits a hallway, a spot over a side table, or a grouping of two or three above a kitchen counter, glowing amber once lit against its pale, textured surface. It is hardwired, with the drop set by your electrician.
