The white Moon 18 takes the same 45cm cratered sphere silhouette as its natural counterpart, but here the cardboard rings are knife cut rather than laser cut, a technique Graypants reserves for its white finishes, then hand assembled and bonded with a non-toxic adhesive. By day the shade reads as a sculptural white orb; switched on, the corrugated fluting still filters the bulb into a soft, warm glow and casts the same intricate shadow play, just against a paler, brighter backdrop suited to crisp Scandinavian or contemporary interiors as readily as a boutique hotel lobby. It hardwires to the ceiling, with the drop set by your electrician at install.
