Switch it on and the Moon 14 fills a room with a soft amber glow, its corrugated cardboard shade diffusing light into the kind of atmospheric warmth Graypants has built its name on. Each shade is laser cut from reclaimed cardboard and bonded by hand with a non-toxic adhesive, so no two are ever quite identical, while the natural kraft colour lets every layer of fluting catch the light and cast shifting shadows outward. At 36cm across, this compact member of the Moon family suits a bedside pairing, a reading nook or a small cluster hung above a kitchen island in a relaxed, biophilic interior. It hardwires directly into the ceiling, with the cord length set on installation.
- Fitting: Hardwired pendant, supplied with fabric cord and round canopy; your electrician sets the final drop height.
- Material: Reclaimed corrugated cardboard, hand assembled and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant.
- Size: 36cm diameter, Moon 14, natural finish, for dry indoor locations only.
- Light: Takes one standard E27 bulb; warmth and dimming depend on the lamp you choose.
