Graypants Scraplights Hive 15 Pendant - Natural - 38cm Diameter

The largest Hive shade, at 38cm, takes the longest to build by hand, its honeycombed facets of raw corrugated cardboard laser-cut and pieced together one section at a time until the sphere-like form closes. Left in its Natural, uncoated state, it shows the cardboard's own grain and tone rather than a painted finish, which is why Graypants pairs it with Scandinavian, organic modern and biophilic schemes that favour visible, honest materials. Once wired in and lit, it filters bulb light into a warm amber glow and casts an intricate lattice of shadow across ceiling and walls, making it a natural centrepiece over a dining table or in an open stairwell. Bonded with non-toxic adhesive and fire-retardant treated, each one is genuinely unique.
