Above a kitchen island, breakfast bar or a run of three in a hallway, the Hive 12 in White brings the Scraplights silhouette into brighter, more contemporary interiors. Its 30cm shade is knife-cut rather than laser-cut, a technique Graypants reserves for the white finish, and hand-assembled into the same honeycombed facets found across the family. Lit, it softens bulb light into a gentle glow by day and a warmer amber wash by night, throwing faceted shadow patterns onto ceiling and walls. Bonded with non-toxic adhesive and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant, each shade carries the slight handmade variation that comes from a production line built around people rather than machines.
