Switch it on and the Hive 12 in Natural does what every Scraplight does best: it turns an ordinary bulb into a soft amber glow and throws a honeycombed lattice of shadow across the surrounding walls and ceiling. At 30cm, the shade sits at the mid-point of the Hive range, sized for a small dining table, landing or a cluster of two or three spaced along a hallway. The cardboard is laser-cut and left in its raw Natural state, then hand-assembled and bonded with non-toxic adhesive before a non-toxic fire-retardant treatment is applied. It fits naturally into Japandi, Scandinavian and organic modern interiors where texture and handcraft matter as much as light output.
