Left in its raw kraft tone, the Ausi 8 in Natural shows the reclaimed cardboard exactly as it is, ridged, textured and warm, with none of the surface treatment used on the Blonde or White versions. Laser cut into shape and hand assembled with non-toxic adhesive, then treated with a non-toxic fire retardant, it is the smallest shade in the Ausi family at 19cm in diameter, well suited to a bedside pairing, a small dining nook, or a cluster hung at varying heights above a console table. Once lit, the untreated cardboard filters bulb light into a particularly rich, amber glow and throws fine shadow detail across nearby walls. It hardwires to a fabric cord and round canopy, with drop length set at installation.
