Where Graypants' natural Scraplights are laser cut, the white finish on the Ausi 14 is knife cut by hand, a slower process reserved for lighter tones so the reclaimed corrugated cardboard keeps its crisp, clean edges. At 39cm across, this pendant reads as a sculptural centrepiece over a dining table, kitchen island or hotel lobby seating group, its ribbed cardboard shade casting soft, latticed shadows across ceilings and walls. Hand assembled and bonded with non-toxic adhesive, then treated with a non-toxic fire retardant, it carries Graypants' craft based, low impact production story from workshop to room. Hardwired for installation by a qualified electrician, the fabric cord and canopy let the drop height be set on site.
