At 163cm across, this is the largest silhouette in Graypants' Scraplights collection, built from layer upon layer of reclaimed corrugated cardboard, laser cut into rings and hand assembled around a glass diffuser that anchors the light source at its centre. Left in its natural kraft tone, the shade reads almost like sedimentary rock, and every seam and stacked edge becomes part of the design rather than something to hide. Once lit, it throws a warm, honeyed glow through the fluted layers and casts intricate shadow patterns across ceilings and walls, an atmosphere no single downlight can match. It suits soaring stairwells, hotel lobbies, and double-height living spaces where a smaller Scraplight would simply disappear.
