Graypants has fitted out hospitality and commercial spaces for brands including Starbucks and Amazon, and the drum shaped 75h in Zinc shows why the Roest collection reads so well at that scale. The naturally oxidised steel takes on a cooler, silvered grey character in this finish rather than the warmer red brown of Rust, so it pairs easily with concrete, glass and pale timber in contemporary interiors. Hung low over a table, bar or reception counter, it throws a contained pool of warm light downward while the weathered steel exterior catches whatever ambient light is in the room. Developed with Dutch studio VanJoost and hand finished in the Netherlands, it carries the same one of a kind texture as every Roest piece.
