Swap Rust for Zinc and the 45v takes on a cooler, more silvered patina, the same tall cylindrical steel form but in a tone that sits comfortably alongside pale oak, concrete and stone. It is still an oxidised finish, naturally weathered rather than painted, then sealed so the Zinc colouring holds steady rather than shifting further over time. Hung singly above a side table or in a stairwell where light needs to travel down through a narrow shaft, the 45v in Zinc gives a Scandinavian or Japandi interior a quiet, architectural focal point without the warmer red brown tones of the Rust option.
