The Hereford dish cluster brings three glass globes together on a single ceiling point, giving a bathroom or washroom the kind of statement lighting usually reserved for kitchens and dining rooms. Rated IP44, it is built to cope with steam and splashes as well as it looks doing so.

Four Fittings to Choose From

The clear glass globes stay the same across the range, so the only real choice is the metalwork. Antique brass and polished brass both lean warm, with polished brass the brighter and more reflective of the pair. Nickel gives a cooler, more contemporary look, while bronze reads darkest, closer to gunmetal than a true brown bronze. Every finish is hand coloured, so slight variation piece to piece is normal.

How It Works

Rather than three separate pendants, the cluster is hand assembled onto a single ceiling point, so you only need one electrical connection to run all three lights. It takes 3 x E27 bulbs, max 8W LED each, not supplied, and is fully dimmable with compatible bulbs and a dimmer switch. The fitting measures 180mm in height and 400mm in width, excluding the flex.

Where It Works Best

Fritz Fryer started out in 1982 in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire, restoring antique lights bought from across the UK and Europe. The workshop still hand blows its glass and hand colours its metalwork today, so tiny air bubbles or small shade differences between fittings are part of how they are made, not a fault. Shade names, including Hereford, come from towns and villages around the Herefordshire workshop.
