Feiss Malibu Single Wall Light - Brushed Brass

A stepped frame bathroom light for classic to modern interiors

The Malibu single wall light combines a crisp, opal etched glass drum shade with a stepped metal frame, a small architectural detail that lifts it above a plain drum shade. The shape is versatile enough to suit a traditional bathroom as easily as a more contemporary one.

Brushed brass finish

In Brushed Brass, the stepped frame takes on a warmer, slightly matte quality rather than a high shine, which suits bathrooms with warmer toned fittings, natural stone or wood. The opal etched glass keeps the light diffused and even rather than harsh.

How it works

This fitting does not come with a bulb, so you will need to add one when you order. Given its bathroom use, we would always recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.

Where it works best

With an IP44 rating, this fitting is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and outside zone, so it is a genuine option beside or above a mirror rather than just in a hallway. The story behind Feiss

Three generations of the Feiss family took a single South Bronx lighting workshop and built it into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its output eventually spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. It began in 1955, when Murray Feiss wired imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases and his mother Rose hand sewed the shades to finish them. The Feiss design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co., and since 2012 Elstead Lighting has represented the brand in the UK and Europe, adapting its designs for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Malibu sits among the brand's more pared back, architectural ranges, its stepped frame detail doing the work rather than any period specific styling.
