The story behind Feiss

Feiss was founded in 1955 by Murray Feiss, who began building lamps in the South Bronx from imported European porcelain figurines, finished with shades hand sewn by his mother, Rose. Over three generations, the family run business grew into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and its design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss in the UK and Europe, adapting designs including this Malibu bathroom light to 220 to 240V electrics. Malibu is one of the brand's more pared back, architectural ranges, built around a stepped frame detail rather than any single period style.
