The Malibu 2 light flush fitting brings the same stepped frame and opal etched glass drum shades as the wall light version, but sits flush to the ceiling, spreading light evenly across the room from above rather than from one wall. Two drum shades side by side give a fuller spread of light than a single fitting.

The story behind Feiss

The earliest Feiss lamps were built around imported European porcelain figurines, wired into lamp bases by Murray Feiss in a South Bronx workshop he opened in 1955, with his mother Rose hand sewing the shades that finished each one. Over three generations, that workshop grew into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its range spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, its heritage now part of Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting its designs for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Malibu, in its flush ceiling form here, continues that same pared back, architectural approach, built around a stepped frame detail rather than a period specific look.
