The Huguenot Lake single wall light takes a circular motif and hand spun fitters and pairs them with a drum of opal etched glass, a contemporary rendition of an early Colonial look rather than a strictly period piece. As a single light, it suits a smaller mirror or a narrower run of wall where a longer bar fitting would not fit.

Polished Chrome finish

The Polished Chrome finish gives the circular fitters a bright, reflective quality, while the opal etched glass keeps the light itself soft and even rather than glaring. It pairs naturally with chrome taps, towel rails and mirror fittings already in the room.

How it works

This fitting does not come with a bulb, so you will need to add one to your order. Given its bathroom location, we would always recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation. Fixtures in this collection may be mounted facing up or down, so you can choose whichever orientation suits your wall.

The story behind Feiss

A single South Bronx workshop, founded by Murray Feiss in 1955 around imported European porcelain figurines and shades hand sewn by his mother Rose, grew across three generations into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. The Feiss design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co., and Elstead Lighting has represented the brand in the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting collections including Huguenot Lake for 220 to 240V electrical systems. This Huguenot Lake collection, in Polished Chrome, is Feiss's more contemporary take on an early Colonial motif, pairing circular fitters with opal etched glass rather than a heavier period design.
