The Concord 4 light above mirror bar is the largest fitting in the collection, carrying the same Colonial era American design across four goose neck arms set along one chamfered backplate with a cut corner detail. Each arm ends in a four sided, opal etched glass shade with bevelled corners, spreading light evenly along the full width of a large or double vanity mirror.

Polished chrome finish

Polished chrome gives the metalwork a bright, reflective finish, with the frosted texture of the four etched glass shades softening the light along the bar. It works well against both traditional bathroom schemes and simpler contemporary ones, pairing naturally with chrome taps, towel rails and mirror fittings already in the room.

How it works

Each of the four arms takes a G9 LED bulb, none of which are included, so you will need four separately before fitting. It is Class I, meaning it must be properly earthed, so we would always recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation given its bathroom use. The backplate fixes flat to the wall, and each of the four arms can be adjusted a little once mounted.

The story behind Feiss

It was European porcelain figurines, wired into lamp bases and dressed with shades Rose Feiss sewed by hand, that gave her son Murray his start in the South Bronx in 1955. What began as that small workshop grew across three generations into one of America's best known decorative lighting brands, its range eventually stretching from chandeliers and pendants to wall lights and outdoor fittings. Feiss now sits within Visual Comfort & Co., while Elstead Lighting has looked after the UK and European side since 2012, converting ranges such as Concord to 220 to 240V electrics. Concord's own design language reaches back to that early Colonial era American styling, here stretched to its widest across a four light bar suited to larger vanities.
