A candle inspired bathroom wall light
The Amalia single small wall light takes its inspiration from traditional shelf candle holders, translating that shape into a compact bathroom wall light. A stepped back plate gives it a sleek, smooth profile, with White Opal Etched cylindrical glass over the bulb.
Polished Chrome finish
Polished Chrome gives the back plate a bright, clean shine that suits a classic or contemporary bathroom scheme, working well as a pair either side of a mirror or cabinet.
How it works
This fitting doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order. Given its bathroom location, we would always recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.
Where it works best
With an IP44 rating, this fitting is suitable for bathroom use, subject to checking your own zone requirements. The story behind Feiss
Imported European porcelain figurines, wired into lamp bases by hand, were the original idea behind the Feiss name, a business Murray Feiss started in the South Bronx in 1955, with his mother Rose sewing each shade herself. What began as one man's small operation grew, across three generations, into one of America's best known decorative lighting houses, its output eventually covering chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. The Feiss design heritage is now part of Visual Comfort & Co., and since 2012 Elstead Lighting has brought the designs to the UK and Europe, adapting them for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Amalia, this smaller Polished Chrome wall light among them, borrows its shape from traditional shelf candle holders rather than anything more elaborate.
