The Faro Typhoon is a brown ceiling fan designed by Jordi Busquets, finished with anticorrosive treatment on its metal parts so it copes with covered outdoor spaces as well as indoor rooms. It's sized for areas from 13m² up to 17.6m², moving a good volume of air quietly on its DC motor.

Brown and Bronze Finish

This Typhoon comes in a warm brown with bronze undertones, built with a steel body and ABS blades that hold up better outdoors than timber would. The tone works well against exposed brick, timber cladding or stone, and suits both traditional and more relaxed outdoor settings.

• Six speed DC motor, controlled by the remote control included in the box
• Reverse function, so airflow direction can be switched between summer cooling and winter circulation
• Moves up to 183 cubic metres of air per minute (6463 CFM) on its highest speed
• Suitable for mounting on an inclined or sloped ceiling as well as a flat one

Faro Barcelona's history with ceiling fans goes back to the 1980s, when the founder's son travelled to Hong Kong to source new products and partners, a trip that helped make Faro Spain's first major ceiling fan importer. The company later moved from importing to designing, commissioning ranges like the Typhoon from independent industrial designers and developing them from its studio near Barcelona in Castellbisbal, while manufacturing runs through a global supply network.
