Choosing Your Finish

Here the metalwork is finished in a deep, warm bronze, a shade that works well against darker paint colours or alongside wood tones. The same Wedgewood design is also available in other finishes across the range, including gold, antique brass, polished nickel and satin black, so you can pick whichever tone suits your existing fittings.

How It Works

Two E14 lamp holders sit behind the glass rods, each taking a candle bulb up to 20W (bulbs are not included). The fitting is wired to Class I electrical standards, so it needs an earth connection when installed. A rubber gasket built into the lampholder helps preserve the IP44 rating, which protects against splashing water from any angle, though on this particular finish that protection is rated for zone 2 and outside zones rather than zone 1.

Where It Works Best

This finish is rated for bathroom zone 2 and the area outside the designated zones, rather than zone 1, so it belongs beyond the immediate splash area around a bath or shower rather than directly above it.
