Eight G9 capsule lamp holders sit inside the wine glass shade, throwing light both up and down as well as outwards through the frosted inner glass. The frosting breaks up the light so you don't see a bare bulb silhouette, instead getting a soft, diffused glow. It's wired to Class I standards, so it needs an earth connection at installation. The IP20 rating means it's suitable for dry indoor areas only, away from moisture or steam.
