Finished in opal glass, this 30cm pumpkin shaped shade from the Springfield range has a softer, more muted look than a clear or tinted finish, spreading the light evenly and gently rather than letting the bulb show through. The ribbed detailing around the shade gives it some visual interest without being fussy, and the rounded pumpkin profile adds a nice bit of shape to a pendant.
As a shade only piece, it is made to go over an E27 fitting of your own choosing, giving you flexibility on the frame and finish underneath. It suits kitchens, dining spaces, and living rooms alike, especially where a soft, wide spread of light is more useful than a directional beam.
