How It Works

A single E27 bulb, 20W maximum and sold separately, sits inside the smoked diffuser. It's dimmable if you fit a dimmable bulb along with a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp is wired to Class I standards, so it requires an earth connection during installation. Its IP54 rating protects it against dust and against water splashing from any direction, which makes it a dependable choice for outdoor walls.

Where It Works Best

This is primarily an outdoor fitting, suited to garages, back doors, porches or a run of matching lamps along a wall. Thanks to the IP54 rating it also satisfies the requirements for bathroom zones 1 and 2, so it can be used indoors near a bath or shower if you like the design. Part of the Harwater range, this lamp is built from die cast aluminium with a polycarbonate diffuser, a hard wearing pairing that holds up well against weather over time. Being a single arm version, it's the more compact option in the range, well suited to spacing along a wall at regular intervals rather than as a standalone feature.
