It carries the same slim anthracite body and smoked polycarbonate diffuser as the rest of the Harwater range, so the glow is softened rather than glaring, while still being bright enough to show the route clearly at night.

This post lamp comes in anthracite with a smoked diffuser, a dark and understated combination that fades into planting or gravel during the day. The Harwater range also offers a matt brown version, so if your garden features warmer tones in the paving or fencing, that alternative is worth a look.

How It Works

It runs on a single E27 lamp, rated to 20W maximum and not included, so this needs to be bought separately. Dimming is possible if you fit a dimmable bulb alongside a compatible dimmer switch. The wiring is built to Class I standards, so an earth connection is required at installation. Its IP54 rating protects against dust and against splashing water from any direction, which is what a lamp standing exposed in a garden all year round needs.

Where It Works Best

This is designed for paths, driveways and garden borders, where a run of them can line a route without competing with taller planting.
