Finished in a warm matt brown rather than the usual dark grey, this two light wall lamp keeps the same slim tubular shape and smoked polycarbonate diffuser as the rest of the Harwater range. Light spreads both above and below the fitting, giving it a softer, more layered glow than a single downlight would manage on its own.

Choosing Your Finish

This one is finished in matt brown with a smoked diffuser, a slightly warmer alternative to the anthracite version also found in the Harwater range. It suits brick, render or timber surrounds particularly well, and choosing between the two finishes really comes down to what sits around it.

How It Works

The fitting takes two E27 lamps, each rated to 20W maximum and not included, so these will need to be bought separately. It can be dimmed as long as dimmable bulbs are fitted alongside a compatible dimmer switch. Wiring is to Class I standards, so an earth connection is needed during installation. An IP54 rating means it is protected against dust and against splashing water from any direction, which suits a fitting that will be rained on regularly.

Where It Works Best

This is designed with entrances, porches and garden walls in mind, standing up well to weather that a purely decorative indoor light couldn't handle. Because the IP54 rating meets the IP44 or higher threshold, it would also be acceptable in bathroom zones 1 and 2, detailed further in our guide to bathroom lighting zones, though its natural home is outside rather than indoors.
