How It Works

The LED here is integrated rather than a separate bulb, built in at 12W and putting out around 1000 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, with a wide 120 degree beam spread. Because the LED is fixed, it isn't dimmable, so it's a straightforward on or off fitting. It's wired to Class II standards, meaning it's double insulated and doesn't need an earth connection. With an IP44 rating, it's protected against splashing water from any angle, so it can sit safely close to a sink or shower area.

Where It Works Best

Thanks to that IP44 rating, Garfield is suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2, so it can go either side of a mirror or above a vanity unit.
