At thirty six lights, this is the largest of the oblong Farnley pendants, stretching a brass frame and amber glass shades across a full 150cm length. It's built for rooms with real scale, a long kitchen island or an open plan dining space where a smaller fitting would simply disappear.

How It Works

Thirty six G9 capsule bulbs, 10W maximum each, run along the frame, and none are supplied, so factor a full set into your order. It's dimmable as long as dimmable bulbs are used with a compatible dimmer switch. Wiring meets Class I standard, meaning an earth connection is required during installation. With an IP20 rating, this pendant is intended for dry indoor rooms only and shouldn't be fitted anywhere exposed to moisture.

Where It Works Best

Given its length, this pendant is really at its best above a long kitchen island, a large dining table or in an open plan living and dining space where one fitting needs to do the work of several. It also suits a wide hallway or a stairwell with plenty of drop to play with. As it's IP20 rated, it isn't suitable for bathrooms or damp areas.

Design Details

As the largest version in the Farnley range, this design takes the same principle as its smaller siblings, individually glazed lights spaced along an iron frame, and simply extends it further. The extra length and light count give it a real sense of presence, while the brass and amber glass combination keeps the overall effect warm rather than overwhelming.
