How It Works

Thirty two G9 lamp holders are built into the frame, each taking a capsule bulb up to 10W (bulbs not included), and the fixture is dimmable if dimmable bulbs are fitted. It's wired to Class I standards, meaning it needs an earth connection. With an IP20 rating, it's intended for dry indoor rooms only, so it shouldn't go anywhere near a bathroom or other damp space.

Its scale suits rooms with a bit of ceiling height and floor space to match, living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and stairwells can all work depending on the size of the space. It reads best somewhere it can be seen from a few angles rather than tucked into a small corner.

Design Details

Built from iron and glass, this pendant relies on the sheer number of glass rods to create its shape rather than a solid shade, which lets light escape through the gaps as well as through the glass itself. Given its size and weight, it's worth having it fitted by someone experienced with larger ceiling fixtures.
