Eighteen G9 capsule bulbs are needed to run this fitting, 10W maximum each, and none come supplied in the box. It can be dimmed provided dimmable bulbs are used, and it's wired to Class I standards, meaning an earth connection is required. Being IP20 rated, it's built for dry indoor rooms only, not bathrooms or damp spaces.

This is a fitting for a room with real ceiling height, so a double height hallway, a large dining room or an open plan living area all suit it well. The smoked glass also makes it a good choice for rooms where you want drama without too much brightness bouncing back off the fitting itself.
