Sixteen G9 lamp holders are arranged into a circular satin black frame on this Deacon pendant, with opal glass shades softening each point of light into a gentle, even glow. The circular layout gives it a more balanced, symmetrical look overhead compared to a linear fitting, which suits rooms where the pendant will be viewed from all angles.
It is a strong option above a kitchen island, breakfast bar or dining table, and also works well hung centrally in an open plan living space. As with any large pendant, it should be fitted to the ceiling by a qualified electrician, and the opal glass keeps the light soft rather than glary, even with so many lamps in use at once.
