The Ridgeton is a hardwired fitting and should always be installed by a qualified electrician. It is built to Class I electrical standards, which means it must be properly earthed as part of the installation. The fitting is dimmable, so it can be paired with a compatible dimmer switch to adjust the light level to suit the room.
