Elstead Shirebrook Single Bathroom Wall Light - Chrome

A clean, geometric shade for a bathroom wall

The Shirebrook pairs a square, tapered opal glass shade with a stepped chrome bracket, giving it a slightly art deco feel without tipping into full period pastiche. It sits close and neat against the wall, so it works either as the main light beside a mirror or as a softer secondary light in a larger bathroom.

Polished chrome throughout

Every metal part, from the wall plate to the stepped fitting under the shade, is finished in a bright polished chrome, which keeps the whole thing looking crisp and coordinates easily with chrome taps and fittings. The frosted white glass shade softens the light rather than casting a hard glare across the room.

How it works

It takes a single 3W G9 LED (not included), and is IP44 rated, so it is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and outside the immediate splash zone of a bath or shower. Choose a dimmable G9 bulb if you want it to work on a dimmer switch.

Where it works best

At 23cm high and reaching 13.5cm from the wall, it is compact enough for a single light either side of a mirror, or as a stand alone fitting above a basin. The square lines suit a more contemporary bathroom, though the classic shade shape means it does not look out of place in an older property either.
