Elstead Rectory Swirl Single Wall Light - Black

There's a rustic weight to the Rectory Swirl that catches the eye before you even notice the single candle arm curling out from its diamond backplate. Cast in wrought iron and finished in matte black, it has the presence of something forged by hand rather than pressed from a mould.

The backplate carries a rope edged border, and the scrolled arm loops back on itself before rising to a ruffled candle pan holding one E14 lamp in a cream candle sleeve. It's a fitting that reads as substantial without being heavy handed on a wall.

How It Works

A single E14 bulb sits in the candle style holder, dimmable if you fit dimmable lamps. Wiring is Class I, so it needs an earthed connection, and the fitting will also accept GS81 glass if you want to dress the flame further.

Where It Works Best

Its ironwork and candle profile suit hallways, staircases and dining rooms where a period or country house look is wanted, paired either side of a fireplace or flanking a doorway.
